When Martina visited the Brno Zoo she met two beautiful bear ladies.
Cora is looking white, round and fluffy – just like a beautiful polar bear lady must look. 🙂
She was posing so nicely for Martina and her camera.
Cora even spent some time in the water …
…. where she found a delicious apple.
She has such a nice smile. Who says polar bears can’t smile?
In the afternoon it was time for a nap.
This is Cora’s version of the typical polar bear sleeping position.
Kamchatka bear Irina is doing fine, too.
She has such a lovely face.
I’m sure we all wish Irina sweet beary dreams!

Thank you for the wonderful pictures of Cora and Irina. I heard that the zoo Brno rebuild the polar bear enclosure. Is this right?

Thank you for the photos of these beautiful bear ladies.
I didn’t know Cora right away, so I had to do some research. I found out that she (*1998) is the mother of Tom, Bill, Kometa, Nanuk and Noria. After all, two of her children are in German zoos: Bill (*2007) in Gelsenkirchen and Noria (*2015) in Rostock.
Kamchatka bear Irina is a very pretty representative of her species and I particularly like the photos of her sleeping.
