It’s already September but the days have still been very warm for this time of the year. Sometimes the weather is too hot even for a little playful polar bear.
Mama, why is it so hot?
I don’t know, my child, but I know a way to keep us cool.
Let’s go swimming – it’s always very refreshing.
Mama, you were right – but, of course, you always are!
Oh bear, how wonderful the splashing water feels!
OK, mama! Now I feel much better and cooler!
Now I think I must try to make this wooden thing fall!

Wilbär prefers cool places when the weather is too hot to his liking.
Of course, he goes out and looks for a place in the shadow.

It’s great that you were able to visit this wonderful polar bear family again and that you brought back these lovely pictures! All three look splendid and seem to be preparing for the winter – if you look at Wilbär, for example…
I often think of Henk, who now lives in Amneville/France, and would have wished for a similar role for Wilbär and a life together with his family. But of course it has to be decided on a case-by-case basis and safety comes first!
The main thing is that everyone is doing well and enjoying life! That looks pretty good in your photos!

Ja, die Bärenfamilie in Eindhooven sieht prachtvoll aus und Wibär steht gut im Futter.
Mutter und Kind haben ihren Spaß beim Baden und klein Oti testet seine Kräfte.
