Feels like Flashbacks to the Cleveland Zoo so I’m closing out my album with these photos. The habitats are impressive with real grass, trees & natural enrichment. See you next time, Cleveland. ✌️❤️&🐾

Dear Michelle,
Thank you for your 3rd report from Cleveland Zoo, which, as you write, has beautiful large and grassy enclosures, which is a prerequisite for species-appropriate animal husbandry. Trees and bushes provide shade, so that the animals feel comfortable outside with sufficient water even at higher temperatures.
Cody & Cooper are my favourites today!
The huge area for the elephants is enormous.
Best wishes to you and Mervi!

Dear Michelle!
Thank you for another interesting and beautiful part of your visit to the Cleveland Zoo! Once again, you’ve managed to take excellent portraits of great animals in pleasantly green surroundings.
When I visit a zoo, I always find it particularly touching when I can make eye contact with the animals and some that I visit regularly not only recognise me, but seem to even greet me and listen to me when I ‘talk’ to them.
You seem to feel the same way and some of the animals seem to look at you curiously, friendly and obviously in a good mood.
A beautiful zoo and great animals! Thank you very much!
Hugs
