When Indie took his morning swim he was happily surprised by finding many treasures in the water.

Oh bear, although this container has seen better days ….

… I love it!

It’s still a very useful toy.

Look how it flies!

After having played with the container Indie took a walk on the shore. Suddenly he caught sight of something red in the water.

I really must take a closer look …. maybe it’s something eatable …

I caught one!

Now I can keep the vet away! I must confess I’m not so eager to meet our vets although they mean well and are very nice persons, too. However, my liking has limits!!

Thank you, dear rangers, for the vitamines!

Who needs a plate when you have paws this big!

Indie has very elegant table manners – even in the water.

  1. Die roten Äpfel sind eindeutig die bessere Wahl, zumindest was das Naschen betrifft!!!👍🐻‍❄️👌😊

  2. Dear Pat!
How great that Indie still finds the one or other treasure while bathing! Even if they look a bit used after being played with by the bears, they are still great for throwing exercises. The highlights were certainly the apples, which were not only delicious but also saved him many a visit from the vet…
Dear Mervi! Thank you for editing!

    Hugs

  3. I love very much clear pictures as much as I love short clear texts/comments ( which I am unable to create myself ;-( )

Thanks for the lovely photos and the entertaining subtitles.

I have to admit I don’t know/remember who and where INDIE is (so, have to go for a search . . ./ omg: in the net I didn’t find soemthing under “Eisbär INDIE” and in KM I only found out that INDIE seams to live in the “YWP” by search with “PAT WALDRON” … THANKS! )

Even birds were present (magpies? and sea gulls) . . Love how polar bears tolerate birds in their neighbourhood! . . . Nice pics as are all the others.

And I expecially love the two last photographs here, as they remind me a lot the polar bear feedings in ‘Zoologischer Garten Berlin’ during the ‘KNUT-era’! . . . . :-)))))

  4. Das vieertletzte Bild mit der ‘Krümpelnase’ beim Äpfel-Mampfen ist natürlich auch ein richtiger ‘Hingucker’ :-)))

  5. Dear Dumba!

Indie is one of Flocke’s and Raspi’s cubs. He has a brother Yuma and a sister Tala who now lives with Flocke in Jimmy’s Farm.

    Hugs from Mervi

    • Thank you so much, dear Mervi, for the helpful answer. I am simply afraid I will forget it before one of the named ones will appear in your KM next time . . .. . (?!)

  6. Yes, a pond like this harbours many treasures, but I’m always a bit worried about the health of the bears that might swallow a loose part.
That’s why fished-up apples are definitely the better choice, otherwise the vet will have to come after all…
