Just like all our animal friends – and even humans – the polar bears in Novosibirsk are enjoying the Summer season with activities suitable for a warm day.
Although swimming and playing are on the daily schedule and take almost all day there’s always time for some yammy snacks, too.
Synchronized diving is Belka’s and Strelka’s speciality.
Making plans – maybe they want to surprise mama …

Belka and Strelka usually let mama rest when they’re playing but this time Gerda wanted to join her twin girls.

As you have seen in previous articles of these bears there are lots of enrichment for them in the water.
Dear kids, can you see that big ball? Maybe it’s too big for you ….
This is what I call a polar bear size ball … and it’s no big deal for me! Girl power rules!
Sharing toys shouldn’t be a problem because there are so many of them.
Mama Gerda knows that after all the playing her kids want to visit the Milky Bar …
… and, naturally, the bar is open!

Dear Arkadi!
Gerda and her daughters Belka and Strelka are enjoying the summer together, with lots of toys and wild water games.
It may be their last summer together, as the daughters are now so big. But Gerda still let them drink, so the time for separation has not yet come. The thought of it makes me a little wistful.
