Nobby, Indie and Yuma are jolly good friends and they are enjoying the Summer days together.
Playing in the water is always great fun!
Maybe a new version of catch-me-if-you-can …. 🙂 … Or maybe it’s a Midsummer Parade ….?
Indie and Nobby found a canu in the grass.
Later Indie decided to take the white canu into the water.
A mission difficult but not impossible!
I’m ready for your standing ovation!
Nobby walking towards the Lake Polar Bear.
How wonderful we have such a big lake.
I have a nose thermometer to check the temperature of the water! Perfect!
Yuma was just chilling.
Why exhaust oneself when you can take it easy!! Why indeed? 🙂
Dear Pat and Mervi
Thank you for bringing Nobby, Indy and Yuma to my screen.
Size seems to be the key to getting along with other Polar Bears. Nobby is the smallest of the four adult bears at YWP so is the closest fit to the brothers.
Dear Pat,
the game with the Canua is just great and always varied, of course standing ovation is included!
It’s great how the three of them interact and get along in this beautiful and large enclosure. You could hardly wish for more in bear keeping.
They are still so young, but maybe one day there will be a nice partner for the three of them.
Many thanks for your report and the lovely photos!

Dear Pat!
These are wonderful pictures of the bear friends in Yorkshire. They have everything they need for their bachelor life and a summer in Yorkshire and I can’t wait to see when the first one tries to get into one of the canoes…. 😉 They haven’t yet realised the purpose of these “toys”.
I almost envy them a little for their big lake in this heat.
Thanks for showing us!
Hugs
Anke
Dear Pat!
It is great to see the three bears play together.
I like the picture of Indie with the canu mostly.
Hugs

The bears seem to have much fun in the water.
The Kajak is a preferred toy, how funny ! 🙂
