Golden October in Tallinn

22.10.2023 – Photos by Imbi Taniel

They say October is the golden month of the year. Then the grey November follows and finally the wonderful white Winter!

Friida was napping and dreaming.

Then she woke up and started wondering ….

Why is October called golden?

Soon the sun appeared and the warming sun rays coloured Friida’s fur beautifully golden.

Don’t you think I look smashing in my ‘new fur’?

Now I understand the meaning of golden October.

Raspi prefers to keep his fur very white.

What an impressive boomsie he has! The chairman – I mean the chairbird of his fan club certainly agrees. 🙂

I’m already preparing myself to the Winter season.

I must have lots of rest now so I’ll have enough energy for rolling in the snow and other snowy activities.

  1. Dear Imbi

Thank you for enchanting the pictures of the two white beauties. No matter whether it’s the Boomsie or the story. Raspi is a dream bear from the front and from behind. Friida just looks very cute. She enjoys the peace and quiet, because who knows what autumn will bring.

Thanks for the wonderful update from Tallin.

    Hugs,
    Anita

  2. Dear Imbi,

The two bears look gorgeous and the golden October sun makes their beautiful coats even prettier. In this good shape, they can face a cold winter with confidence, as they are not lacking for food, as you can see from their “curves”.

Thank you for the pleasant update from Tallinn and best regards!

  3. Dear Imbi and Mervi!
It’s obvious that the two bears are enjoying the golden October sun and having a good time.
Friida is now a truly “big mama” and manages to tone her coat appropriately in the sun. Raspi, on the other hand, remains pure white, is deeply relaxed and even does the “Troll” to my delight.
Thank you for the lovely pictures of two beautiful polar bears who, well prepared, are looking forward to their favourite time of year .

    Hugs
    Anke
