On the 1st of July Rebecca visited the Zoo d’Amnéville in France and she had a wonderful time there meeting many sweet animal friends.
She was welcomed by a gorgeous polar bear. I don’t know if it’s Akiak or Henk but he sure looks handsome!
This ‘Silver back’ seems to be wondering why the Summer days are so hot these days.
The hot weather has made this sweetie sooo tired!
There are many beautiful big cats in this zoo.
This one has caught sight of something yammy – at least it looks like that. 🙂
Oh my, the tiger seems to be ready to jump out of the photo! 🙂 A great photo!
Even the hyena clan presented itself to Rebecca.
Akiak and Henk were having fun in the water.
The splashing water gives us nice and cool showers.
Let’s see who has the biggest mouth!

Well, if I were a judge I would say the match ended in a draw. 🙂
Akiak and Henk seem to agree with the ‘judge’s’ decision. 🙂

Two male bears have to test their strength every now and then and do and show that they are each other’s equal and therefore get along well.
Rebecca, even in the heat, the gorilla, tiger and hyenas were not averse to a photo shoot with you.

Rebecca hatte großes Glück, die Eisbären und Co.so aktiv im Zoo Amnéville anzutreffen!
Als ich im Mai dort gewesen bin, war es sehr heiß und die Tiere waren eher schläfrig… Mal sehen, wie es im September sein wird, dann möchte ich wieder einen Besuch bei Akiak und Henk machen…

Danke für die sommerlichen Bilder aus dem Zoo Amnéville! Dir sind wieder atmosphärische und lebendige Fotos der Tiere gelungen. Ich freue mich, dass Henk und Akiak ein gutes “Match” sind und sich miteinander beschäftigen, auch wenn ich immer noch ein bisschen traurig bin, dass beide ihre “Heimatzoos” verlassen mussten. Für die ruhenden Tiere – Gorilla, Braunbär – empfinde ich große Sympathie…
