The animals in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park are welcoming the Summer season and enjoying the warm weather in the green grass or in their own Polar Bear Sea.
Summer time and the living is easy …
Hamish sure is a big boy now and he’s looking gorgeous!
Luka was lying in the grass ….
…. but then he heard Hamish calling him. The stalking birdies are, of course, with him.
Luka and Hamish enjoy a refreshing bath in the Polar Bear Sea of Yorkshire.
We are really good friends.
Indie looks as handsome as papa Raspi.
Nobby has been a busy gardener and now Yuma is looking for him.

Nobby was tired after all gardening so he was in the land of dreams 🙂

Dik Dik looks so lovely in the green green grass of home.
Sayan loves to lie among the flowers.

Lady Sayan and the DikDiks are in fact neighbours but fortunately the Okapis live between them!

Die Fotogrüße aus dem YWLP, besonders die, von Luka und Nobby, die ich in Wuppertal und München im Zoo einigemale besucht habe, sind immer wieder eine Freude! Diese Eisbären haben wirklich ein paradiesischen Plätzchen gefunden!!

Den Bärchen scheint es gut zu gehen in Yorkshire.
Sicher ist es auch nicht ganz so heiß, wie im
Südwesten Deutschlands. Aber man kann sich
ja im Zweifelsfall im Pool abkühlen…

I love this song, it fits perfectly with these summery pictures, even if there are no cotton fields in Yorkshire and fish probably wouldn’t jump in the ponds for very long… But this song perfectly conveys a very special summer feeling.
The polar bears are enjoying the summer together and look magnificent. I hope they have put their hormonal confusion behind them for now and are living peacefully together again.
I particularly like the photos of the relaxed Hamish, Hamish and Luka together in the water, the handsome Indie and the upright standing Sisu.
The Kirk Dik Dik is adorable and Tiger Sayan a particularly beautiful representative of his kind.
