Greetings from Pairi Daiza in July 2022

It’s been quite a while since I published photos from Pairi Daiza but now I have some really nice stuff for you.

On the 20th of July the park celebrated Dana’s birthday. The beautiful lioness is now 14 years old.

Albi and Leo were born in February this year so they are now about 5 months old – or rather young.

This 2 years old binturong came to Pairi Daiza from the Krakow Zoo. She has settled down well in the park and she’s getting along fine with the other lady binturong Ayu who is 12 years old.

There are twin boys and twin girls in Paira Daiza. Qilak and Nuka (daughters of Malik and the late Lars) live with brothers Beliy and Seriy.

The twin brothers are the sons of the late Nord, who also lived at Aalborg Zoo and was the father of Malik’s younger twin girls Inuk and Imaq, still living in Aalborg.

  1. Dear Mervi!
Thank you for the latest pictures from Pairi Daiza!
The little lions are so adorable and playful like all young big cats. Their mother seems to watch the hustle and bustle in a sovereign and calm manner.
The young female Binturong looks as if she is very much looking forward to her meal.
The polar bear double twins look well and happy. Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented us from following the progress of many young polar bears, so I couldn’t immediately match them to specific parents or zoos. But it’s good to know that they are well cared for.

    Hugs
    Anke

  2. That’s real very nice stuff – great photographs of Tierpark Pairi Daiza.
Thank you very much for the beautiful choice of pictures and for the subtitles,
    dear Mervi.

Everthing shown here is such one wants start cuddling all the animals shown right away. I am kidding, of course – but it’s a dream 😉

  3. Dear Mervi!
Thank you for the news from Pairi Daiza. The young lions are very lovely.
I am curious about the double polar bear twins.
    Hugs
    Ludmila

  4. Dear Mervi, how lovely to see pics of Pairi Daiza. The young lions are behaving like our little cats, wild and cheeky. But AMAAI, they have big ears. The double twins are looking great and especially very white!!! And it seems that they are also big fans of ice bombs.
It is almost unbelievable to realize that it is now one year ago since my last visit (when I met Ludmila and Uwe).

  5. Patricia,
