I’m sure none of us will ever forget the Summer 2007. It was the Summer of Knut and Thomas Dörflein! I remember how we waited every evening to see new photos – and our waiting was always richly rewarded. Thanks to all the photo aunties and uncles we can still recall the beautiful memories with help of their photos.
He was so adorable, so sweet, so lovely – he was pure magic!
His paw waves charmed us all ….
And the pictures of the quality time with papa TD brought tears to our eyes. The scenes were so touching!
Knut grew older but the tender moments with papa were exactly the same.
Of course, we also remember Knut the ‘chameleon’. In no time at all the white bear turned into a black bear. 🙂
A nice bath made Knut white again.
Making collages with Knut was a very great pleasure for me. He was such a fantastic source of inspiration.
Knut made us happy, Knut made us relaxed! 🙂
We receive bad and sad news daily these days and the dark clouds in the sky are getting darker and darker. In times like these we need to cherish all the sweet memories from the past. Memories of our Knut still brighten up our days. Although he hasn’t been with us for many years now he lives in our hearts – maybe stronger than ever now that the world is such an unhappy place! Thank you Knut for having been and still being for us!

The summers with Knut were wonderful, but every spring, autumn and winter with Knut and his friends were also beautiful and special. He was a bear for every season! This wonderful selection of photos and collages brings back many wonderful memories. Thank you for taking us along the memory lane again!
