The Christmas feeding sessions at the bears were not without food enrichments. The barrels first served as a serving table, with salmon garnished with their favorite vegetables on their lids, and after the feast, they would become a toy for water and land.
And the Christmas program doesn’t end with the holidays, in the coming days you can look forward to a special post-Christmas program, weekend guided meetings and feedings as well as giving unsold Christmas trees to animals!
Twin polar bears Gregor and Aleut got each their own barrel.
Of course, that didn’t stop them from checking that the brother didn’t have something better served on his barrel… 🙂
On a special serving barrel, polar bears were not treated with the traditional Christmas carp, but salmon on vegetables covered with salmon oil.
Although Aleut and Gregor occasionally get into fights and power struggles, they are an inseparable duo.

I am very happy about the lovely Christmas surprises that Gregor and Aleut are being offered and served at Prague Zoo.
A fat salmon is not to be sneezed at and a few vitamins are also very useful. And trust is good, but control is better, so that the brother doesn’t get more than you do. It’s no different with small children, is it?

Thank you for the proof photos that Aleut and Gregor are still doing well and are being lovingly cared for in Prague. They look great, no wonder with this healthy diet… They seem to have a lot of fans and I am happy for them!
