Today Berit celebrates her 26th birthday so this is Michelle’s tribute to the lovely polar bear lady.

Berit was born in Denver on December 28, 1998. In 2020, Berit left Denver for Cincinnati where she remained until age 17. In November 2016 she moved to Henry Vilas Zoo where she’s still living.

A dirty/muddy (polar) bear is a happy bear. It can never be overestimated (opposite to being clean) and this irrespective the age of the bear.
