Finally, she’s not up close……though now heading out of the pool.
Berit was born at the Denver Zoo on December 28, 1998 ….. she has been a resident of Henry Vilas Zoo since Nov 2016.

Thanks for the pics of our dear sweet girl. We miss her in Cincinnati. How great to see her doing so well. She has such a beautiful grassy meadow to play in up there.

I can well understand that visitors miss this wonderful bear when she has moved to another zoo after many years! I would feel the same way…
She looks great and seems to be enjoying life.
