Terve! Hello! It’s your Sisu in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park calling again. Although I love the Winter the Summer season has it’s good sides, too.
The grass and the trees are very green now.
I love to take walkabouts in the enclosure and feel the grass under my paws.
The birds are always around us!
My friend Nobby and I have both have some problems with our hormones earlier this year so now we are very happy being out in our nice enclosure again.
Nobby
As you know Nobby is a Master of Relaxation! 🙂 He got his degree at the Polar Bear University in Oxford – at least I think so. You must admit he looks very well educated!
It’s time to start using our canus which our keepers (rangers) so kindly have brought us. However, I must eat first to get some energy!
Now I must hurry!
I chose the blue canu. Hmm, this one seems to be OK!
Hurray! I managed to get it in the water!
This is Indie or Yuma inspecting the yellow and white canu.
Well, it’s time for me to wander around a bit again so I just say bye-bye for now. See you again soon!

Die Kajaks scheinen sich großer Beliebtheit
als Spielzeug zu erfreuen. Auch die Wunde
schließt sich langsam, bzw. das Fell
wächst immer mehr nach… 🙂
Ich wusste es doch, dass es den Bären irgendwann gelingen würde
auch das gelbe Kajak aus seiner Halterung zu lösen.
Die Kajaks machen den Bären richtige Spaß und sind eine tolle
Abwechslung.
Die Fotogrüße von den Eisbären im YWP begeistern mich immer wieder auf’s Neue !!🐻❄️🐻❄️🐻❄️🐻❄️😊
Und die Begeisterung der Weißen für die bunten Kajaks ist immer wieder groß!!👍🤗

Thank you so much for the great photos of the fabulous Yorkshire Wildlife Park boys. Sisu and Nobby look super and really cool. Luckily they have made it through the hormonal spring storms for now and can now devote themselves to playing with various kayaks.
What a pity they don’t fit in 😉

It is interesting to note that Project Polar has returned to its original “all male” cast.
Your photos show how brilliantly the bears get on with their toys and beautiful landscape.
I am wondering whether Flocke’s old enclosure will see any new Polars?
