  1. So hält Berit sich fit und wir können uns über die tollen Aufnahmen mit den passenden Kommentaren dazu freuen!!🐻‍❄️👍👌👏🤗

  2. Dear Michelle and Mervi,

mermaid is the right name for this performance in the water.
In other words: the mermaid is on the catwalk in the water!

These are great shots and you can see how well they are adapted not only to the snow in the Arctic but also to the water, where they can swim tens of kilometres at a time in the wild.

Thanks for the brilliant photos and best wishes!

  3. Dear Michelle and dear Mervi!
The 25-year-old Berit is a beautiful mermaid and the underwater shots of her are great. I particularly like the fact that she is diving in crystal clear water and has a lot of space.
Sometimes it looks as if she’s making sure someone is looking… 😉

    Hugs

  4. Berit was known for swimming laps when she lived at the Cincinnati Zoo. Always in the water. It’s great to see her enjoying such waterplay at Henry Vilas. She’s doing so well. I wonder if she misses her young friends, her former companions who now have moved on. She was always so sociable.

    Molly
