During Pat’s visit in Jimmy’s Farm she met not only polar bears but also many of the other animals living in this park.
Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is an award winning wildlife park, rare breeds farm, restaurant and wedding venue based in the heart of Suffolk.
The artic foxes were napping. Their fur is turning to the Summer colour.
From pigs to polar bears the park is a centre of excellence for British rare breeds as well as home to camels, primates, tapir and crocodiles amongst other animals.

Visitors can hand feed some animals and get even closer with special animal talks and activities on every day included in your admission.

Dear Pat!
Thank you for the third part of your report on Jimmy’s farm! It’s really nice that you also introduce us to the less prominent, but nevertheless loveable animals. Donkeys, Arctic foxes, meerkats, capybaras, and the endangered domestic breeds of goats, sheep and pigs are also animal personalities and not only their offspring are worthy of attention.
But Diego’s rescue makes me particularly happy and I wish him that he quickly overcomes his trauma and the loss of his home and that he has a happy and fulfilling life from now on!

Dear Pat,
I’m most happy about the happy ending of Diego, who found his home on Jimmy’s farm after Orsa was closed and three of his mates have thankfully also come to Berlin.
Jens, thank you very much for your links of Fiete and Lloyd.
When I looked through your photos of Frimas and Oti for the second time, I saw a thick lump on Frimas’ lower abdomen. Do you know more about it?
Unfortunately, it looks like a cancerous tumour….

Eigentlich ist die dicke Beule nicht an Frimas sondern an Wilbär.
Tierpfleger sagten mir, dass dies ein Nabelbruch ist.

I see it’s not just the polar bears that have a wonderful area.
The other animals have great enclosures too.
The capybara family looks lovely. I love these big rodents and their offspring are always a real eye-catcher for me.
It is nice that Diego has found a new home here.
