23.5.2024 – Photos by Arkadi Laptenko and Valentina Anastasjeva
The morning begins as usual in the Nobosibirsk Zoo. Gerda, Strelka and Belka are checking if the visitors have come to admire them.
Belka and Strelka still want to sleep a little.
Come on kids! Rise and shine – our fans are already here.
The twins seem to think a synchronized posing is what the visitors want to see. 🙂
They must have rehearsing this charming posing many times but now it’s perfect! 🙂
The polar bears in Novosibirsk are amazingly white compared to their fellow bears in many other zoos this time of the year.
Gerda had fish for lunch
Papa Kai enjoyed some snacks, too. What impressive paws!
After having posed for all the cameras it’s time for water games.
Shall we crawl or shall we swim back stroke?
Back stroke was chosen.
There’s plenty of enrichment in the water for the bears and if my eyes serve me right there was even some ice left.
Belka or Strelka having a boomsie shower. 🙂
The girls have grown but mama Gerda opens her milk bar when ever it’s necessary.
Even turbo kids get tired ….
Shhhh! Dear visitors, please, be quiet – my babies are sleeping.
Gerda joined her twins to the Napland.
We wish all the readers of this magazine a pleasant Spring/Summer time. We’ll be back soon so stay tuned.
Liebe Grüße von Brigitte
Thank you very much dear Mervi, Arkadi and Valentina.
Best wishes to Kai, Gerda, Belka and Strelka.
Dear Valentina and Arkadij!
It’s always a pleasure to learn something new about this lively and extremely good-looking family and to look at the great photos. Belka and Strelka have grown quite a bit and have developed really well.
I find the mother/daughter pictures particularly touching, which at the same time make me a little sad, because this time will inevitably come to an end.
Hugs
Anke
It is a lovely family. The 2 last pictures are so sweet. I hope they can still pass a lot time of together
