As promised here are more photos of the wonderful polar bears Berit and Bo in the Henry Vilas Zoo. Michelle has taken fantastic photos of B & B.

It is always a delight to see Berit and Bo, and their lovely friendship in Madison. How nice that when the grizzly sisters are hibernating, the polar bears get a change of scene. We miss Berit in Cincinnati. Thanks for sharing, Michelle.

It’s great that the two of them get on well and harmonise with each other. It really seems to be a match and it is probably more common for an older female bear and a young male bear to get on well together. I remember, for example, Fiete’s first time in Sosto/Hungary, when he was taken under Zora’s (?) wing and comforted by her.
