As you may know by now Crystal’s twin cubs are boys.
Of course, mama Crystal knew the gender already before the vet examination!
We know the Toledo Zoo community has been waiting a bear-y long time for the results of the Polar bear cub naming contest, and now it’s finally here!
The boys have already been swimming

Thank you for this lovely update from the Toledo Zoo!
Crystal’s little heartbreakers are just as cute as all the other polar bears at that age! The names they have chosen take some getting used to, but at least they seem to be unique and have not been given before.
It’s good that the little ones can already swim.

There is a live camera to the boys’ paddling pool. I’ll probably take a look there from time to time.
There are two boys… I like the names and of course they are taken from the Eskimo language.
