Old Man Winter came very late to Tallinn. However, there was enough snow so Friida and Raspi could enjoy the delights of the cold season.
Raspi thinks the Winter could have been longer ….
Well, it was anyway so fun to roll in the snow and play with the toys.
The snow gives the toys a nice new dimension!
After the snow games it was nice to have a nap. The soft snow was a nice cushion.
Of course, even Friida was very happy about the white stuff.
What a beautiful lady she is!
Raspi looks gorgeous with his white fluffy fur. Unlike many other male polar bears in the zoos Raspi is very ‘well filled’. 🙂
Now the snow has melted away and in the recently taken photos we can see Friida and Raspi together.
Oh bear, Friida looks so small compared to the gigantic Raspi! The little lady seems to prefer the ‘darker shade of white’ on her fur.
Raspi thanks you for watching and promises to be back before long!
The Winter didn’t last so long but there will be a new Winter! While waiting Friida and I are going to enjoy Spring, Summer and Autumn!

Only a few polar bears in European zoos have had the pleasure of experiencing and thoroughly enjoying snow and ice. Thank you for these wintry pictures from Tallinn! I’m happy for Friida and Raspi that they at least had a bit of winter feeling with snow.
Friida looks really small against the mighty Raspi. I am quite happy that Rasputin is a well-socialised and friendly guy….

Yes, Rasputin is huge and a very impressive bear.
