20.12.2024 – Photos by Petra Ballon
Petra visited Hellabrunn in Munich on the 2nd of December. It was a rainy and foggy day but she managed to take great photos of many of our animal friends.
Giovanna is La Primadonna Assoluta in Hellabrunn! 🙂
Dear Giovanna! Please, reveal your secret … How do you manage to stay so beautiful?
Mademoiselle Nuna is, of course, very beautiful, too.
She has an interesting fur colour. I don’t know what she’s eating but maybe this kind of food makes her fur multi coloured …. 🙂
What a pretty face!
Nookie wasn’t so amused by the rain but stayed behind the rocks.
Maybe she was waiting for the rain to stop so she could start playing with the toys.
There are so many sweet animals in Hellabrunn and here you can ‘meet’ some of them.
Mr and Mrs Arctic Fox
I wonder what was so interesting in this bucket.
A lovely couple – Murnau-Werdenfels (Murnay Werdenfelser Rinder)
‘Rotschulterrüsselhündchen’ is ever so cute. – Does anybody know what it is in English?
Otto and his family
Lovely Justin had found a nice napping spot. 🙂
This beauty certainly doesn’t look like ‘a big bad wolf’! – On the contrary!
Now that the trees have let their leaves fall it would be nice with some snow. Nuna is waiting for some flakes to dance in the air.
Dear Petra,
The three female polar bears look great and seem to be getting on well together. Of course Giovanna is and remains the boss!
The other zoo inhabitants also seem to be doing well, and that’s the main thing.
Herzliche Advent greetings
Britta-Gudrun
Dear Petra and dear Mervi!
I’m very envious of the people in Munich who have a zoo with a functioning polar bear girl’s flat share. The female polar bears make a good impression and Giovanna is of course the queen. In Berlin, the polar bear enclosure has unfortunately still been empty since Christmas 2021…
The other animals were also well captured, from the cheeky polar foxes to the beautiful cattle, the cute little trunked dog and the elephants with “little Otto” to the Indian panda and the wolf in winter fur with the beautiful eyes.
Thank you very much!
Hugs
Anke
PS: The translator says red-shouldered trunk dog.
Liebe Petra!
Danke für die Neuigkeiten aus München. Giovanna, Nuna und Nookie sehen gut aus. Die Polarfuchse sind sehr hübsch.
Hugs
