The photos of Bo were taken on Thursday (November 9th) in the Henry Vilas Zoo. I did see both Bo & Berit again, but wanted to focus on young Bo’s pool play.
Hello, Bo! Time for pool play?

Found his bone….
Young Bo’s mom Chrystal resides in the Toledo Zoo. She just turned 25 years young and Bo’s little brothers Kallik and Kallu celebrated their first birthday.
Just a boy & his bone….
At least I caught him coming back down….
Shake & play….
Bo has moves I hadn’t seen before…..
Are you getting tired, Bo?
Nope…….
I’m still watching and photographing, Bo!
That’s all for now, BUT…..
Bo took off running for a toy….

the backwards roll is relatively common with polar bears and it’s very elegant.

Thank you for these really great and funny pictures of Bo playing! Obviously not only the bear had a lot of fun here, but also everyone who was allowed to watch him.
I love the “nope” photo after all the action before, but also all the others where you can see how playful this young and handsome bear is.
