Rebecca has visited the Ouwehands Dierenpark (Rhenen) in the Netherlands and she met three generations of polar bears there!
This is grandmama Huggies. 🐻❄️
She’s the mother of Freedom and the grandmother of Sura and Yuka.
Huggies is already 30 years old but she’s still going strong.
Just look how agile she is! I’m envious!!

This beautiful lady is Sura 🐻❄️
Sura’s mother is Freedom and vater was Viktor.
Sura and her twin brother Akiak were born on the 22nd of November 2014 in Rhenen.
She found an eateble treasure in the water.
Sura shares an enclosure with Huggies and Freedom.
A lazy afternoon
Yuka 🐻❄️ is the King of his enclosure where he lives alone.
His parents are Freedom and Wolodja.
Yuka obviously likes the green stuff.
This lovely boy was born on the 27th of November 2019 in Rhenen so he’s been there all his life.

Die dreißigjährige Huggies ist immer noch gut in Form und sieht toll aus. Super, dass sie harmonisch mit ihrer schönen Tochter zusammen lebt und dass deren ebenfalls sehr hübsche Tochter ebenfalls friedlich dieselbe Anlage teilt. Drei Generationen, das ist alles andere als normal…

Thirty-year-old Huggies is still in good shape and looks great. It’s amazing that she lives harmoniously with her beautiful daughter and that her equally pretty daughter also peacefully shares the same enclosure. Three generations, that’s anything but normal…
