The hibernation is over for Boris

24.3.2024 by Michelle Rippey

Michelle visited the Milwaukee County Zoo on the World Wildlife Day (3rd of March) and there was a great surprise for her:

Guess who I saw?! 🐻 BORIS 🐻 Thank you gut instinct for giving me a nudge to stop today. We missed you, Boris!! We should slowly start seeing more of him.

Brown 🐻 Boris is slowly waking…….

  1. Happy Spring, Boris. Time to wake up and get going. I hope you had a nice winter’s nap.

Thanks for the cute photos, Michelle. Boris is very handsome.

  2. When Boris wakes up, it means spring is coming.
I think Boris is a nice harbinger of spring!

Thank you, dear Michelle for your enchanting report with these lovely pictures.
    Hugs,

  3. Liebe Michelle,

  4. Dear Michelle!
Thank you for the springtime awakening of Boris. He does still look a bit worn out and he needs to get a bit more dressed up for “Rise and Shine”, but the sight of him is nevertheless most welcome. I wish all hibernators a happy spring!

    Hugs
    Anke

  5. Dear Michelle!

    Hugs
    Ludmila
