Brodie loves to play and he certainly has lots of enrichment both in land and in the water. No wonder he looks so happy!

BRODIE in the Scottish ‘Highland Wildlife Park’ gave me an extra smile:
As I am no more so familiar with all the polar bears in the world and even in the neighbourhood, I wasn’t aware at first that there is talk about a polar bear when I read the title of this article . . . I rather thought spontaneously of a musk ox (‘Moschusochse’ – keine Ahnung, WARUM!) ;-)))
That’s why I made a search and found an article in ‘Highland Wildlife Park’ of 22.03.2022 where I came to know that BRODIE’s parents are VICTORIA (where does she come from?) and ARKTOS(!?). This time I don’t insert the corresponding link here. I am quite conviced you will find it yourself, if interested to read it.
Pat Waldron has managed to create entertaining photos of BRODIE’s funny actions and also beautiful pics of other lovely animals in that Park/Zoo. The subtitles are also as funny (Brodie) and informative (other animals). Thanks.

The “arctic wolf” for me looks like a
polar-fox – his summerhair changes its
colour. The Prwewalski wild horses are

Dear Pat and Mervi!
(Almost) everyone loves little polar bears of this age. They are especially cute, curious, playful and just discovering the world around them. They have this special charm that opens all hearts to them. Brodie is no exception and is sure to have everyone around him “wrapped around his little claw”….

Walker has obviously already prepared well for hibernation, as has Arctos…
The other animals seem content and partly very relaxed, e.g. the arctic fox and the wolf.

Thank you for the news from the Highlands Wildlife Park. It is great that Brodie has many toys. His mother cares very good of her son. He and the other polar bears live in the big enclosures. Arctos and Walker grew to the huge males
