Morning has broken in the Novosibirsk Zoo so Belka and Strelka are welcoming the new day with new adventures.
Let’s go and see if our waterfall is working today ….
Oh yes, it’s working!
What luxory to have our own waterfall!
The other bear’s grass is always greener! Ooops! This grass belongs to us!
Now Belka and Strelka can finally feel the grass under their paws.
I’m sure the visitors are pleased being able to see their beloved polar bear twins even after their separation from mama Gerda.
There are even toys for the twins …
… and they seem to appreciate them very much.
Swimming together is always great fun!
As you can see we have a nice enclosure with green grass, a waterfall and a nice pool, too!

A nice contribution and co-work concerning pics (Arkadi Laptenko – Great! – Thanks.) and text (Mervi – you found once more very entertaining and amusing subtitles! . . Thanks as well – for all the editorial work and the general use of all the contacts you found, cultivated and inserted during so many years!).
It’s a pleasure to see the siblings we’d got the chance to follow (with their parents GERDA and KAI during a long period of time in uncredibly touching pics and word-contributions)
in this new exclusive sibling-constellation, being obviously rather content with grass under their paws etc. . . .

Dear Mervi and Arkadi!
I am relieved that Belka and Strelka can still be seen and that their enclosure has some pleasing features compared to the previous one, such as a waterfall and natural ground. This is a small consolation and a step in the right direction. The separation from their mum was very early in my opinion and I would love to know what the reasons were…

Leider habe ich noch immer den Eindruck, dass Belka und Strelka zu früh von ihrer Mutter getrennt wurden…🐻❄️🐻❄️😔
Umso mehr hoffe ich, dass die Mädels sich mit der Zeit an die neue Situation und die neue Anlage gewöhnen werden, eben das Beste daraus machen…🐻❄️🐻❄️✊
