Most of us have followed Flocke ever since she was a little cubbie in Nuremberg. Now she’s a mother and even a grandmother because her daughter Hope has twin girls!
It’s amazing how this hand raised polar bear has been and still is such a good mama. She had to move from Antibes but was lucky to find a home in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park where the family is still staying.
Flocke’s daughter Tala is still living with her mother. The two beautiful ladies are getting along fine.
Tala is a real action girl. I wonder what she’s planning now.
Even a turbo girl likes to take a break on the green grass.
The boys Indiana and Yuma are living together with the big boys Hamish, Luka, Nobby and Sisu. They don’t share the enclosures all the time but the rangers decide who will be with whom.
I can’t tell who’s Indie and who’s Yuma – maybe the readers can?
Indie or Yuma? That’s the question! 🙂
Hello brother!
What are you up to? I’m not in the mood of playing yet ….
I have a nice blue barrel ….
…. but I’m a bit ashamed to show it to you because it doesn’t look so nice anymore. It’s not my fault! They say this is ‘polar bear proof’, but this barrel must be made for chickens – not for strong polar bears.
Oh, now I found a new barrel!
Let’s find out how long it will look like this!
I start the treatment by throwing it into water ….
….. and then after it!

It is wonderful that Flocke and Tala continue to get along so well. Flocke is a super mom and still very relaxed.
Indie and Yuma have such a real boys life with lots of play and physical activity. It’s great that they are being enabled to do this!

Früher war ich der Meinung, dass Wilbär um Vergleich mit Knut und Flocke “das große Los und ein kleines Eisbären-Paradies” gefunden hat!
Doch heute denke ich,Flocke hat es von den Dreien am besten getroffen!!
HOFFENTLICH finden Hope und die Zwillinge Noori und Nanook wenigstens einen “guten Platz”…
