The Yorkshire Wildlife Park with it’s spacious enclosures is a real paradise both for the animals and their visitors. There’s a large number of different species and due to the succesful breeding there are many sweet babies, too.
This is lovely Auckley …
… and this charming guy is Rocco.
Belle’s and Gaston’s puppies are growing fast.
Belle is a good and tender mama.
The puppies are exploring their enclosure with great curiousity.
When Pat visited them the bushdog family was treated with something feathered.
Oh my, this one looks proud of the eatable treasure.
It looks like the kids don’t mind sharing the treasure. 🙂
Darcy and Brook are the proud parents of these lovelies.

Fallen leaves are signs of the Autumn but oh dear, they don’t taste so good! 🙂
The cheetah kittens love to play with each other …
… but the moments with their loving mama Darcy are golden!

What little, i.e. very young, humans and little animals have in common is that you are enchanted by them and immediately fall in love with them. Their helplessness and their cute and clumsy behaviour and playfulness awaken in us the protective instinct and the desire to cuddle them. They also look adorable, and that includes all the little ones shown here…
I was very happy to see a photo of sweet Auckley again.
