Boris is ready for his Winter nap

Upon returning to Wisconsin, naturally I visited Boris in Milwaukee County Zoo.  It’s that time of the year when he’s MOOving slowly – he’s ready for his long winters nappy. This was an unusual year for our beloved Boris, but he has proven just how resilient 🐻 are. Thank you to his zookeepers and vet staff for not giving up on him. ✌️❤️&🐻

Here comes the one and only Alaskan 🐻….Boris. Oh my….it looks like you put on a few pounds while I was away, Boris!

“I did….look how squishable I look!”

“Hold on….I must rest. It’s a workout MOOving with all this weight!”

“Ugh, you really want me to take one last dip in the pool?! It’s only 50 degrees, but for you….”

“Ahhh…..this is refreshing!” 😍
