Hello! We are the polar bear family in the Nobosibirsk Zoo – mama Gerda and the twins Belka and Strelka. This time we want to show you some of our colourful toys.
Of course, we start the day with vitamines! The carots are very yammy.
In our little Arctic Corner we can always make big snow balls …
…. but we have also have white toys to remind us of the coming Winter season.
The green and red watering cans are very nice.
Oh bear, this can isn’t polar bear proof – but I’d like to know what is … 🙂
Mama’s back can be very useful sometimes! – Although Gerda doesn’t look too happy …. 🙂
Even this can has seen better days … 🙂
Ooops! I guess there are some holes in this can. I can’t use it for watering anymore.
Well, I can use it as a fluite and entertain my fans with some polar bear music! 🙂
We have something yellow, too.
Blue is a wonderful colour that most polar bears love!
Don’t you think blue matches our furs perfectly! I gues that’s why all polar bears love blue.
The red buoy is quite big but no challenge for us!
Because we are multi tasking girls our keepers have brought us a string with big ‘pearls’.
What giant pearls! 🙂
It takes a power girl to do this!!!
Kai heard cheerful growling from the enclosure next door ….
… so he got inspired to play with his yellow buoy.
Thank you for watching! We’ll be back soon with hopefully snowy greetings to you!

Freu mich wieder dolle über alle Vier mal wieder! 💓 🥰 👍
LG Brigitte
In Novosibirsk werden die Bren nicht mehr lange auf echten Schnee warten müssen.
Egal welche Farben die Kannen haben, die Hauptsache ist doch, dass sie schwimmen!
Dear Arkadi
Very entertaining & funny photos!
The kids have many colourful toys
and much fun, playing in the water
or on land. They have grown much.
I hope, winter will arrive soon in
your region – so the bears would
have perfect conditions again! 🙂
Greetings
Chris
Dear Arkadi and Mervi!
Thanks for sharing!
The pictures of the bear family in Novosibirsk are really fun. It’s always something special to watch bears playing. The last picture is a blast!
I guess the bears don’t really care about the colour of their toys, but of course it looks prettier when they are colourful. I used to think that they particularly liked the colour blue, but maybe that was because they were often given blue bins to play with. I agree with Britta-Gudrun: the main thing is that they swim…
Hugs
Anke
Thank you very much dear Mervi and Arkadi.
Best wishes to Kai, Gerda, Belka and Strelka.
