16.12.2021 – Photos by Nel Hoekstra
On the 23rd of November 2021 Nivi moved from the Dierenrijk Nuenen to the Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam. When Nel visited the zoo on the 6th of December Nivi was exploring his new home. Even our old friend Wolodja lives in this zoo.
Nivi was walking in the enclosure looking very curious ….
… but he also looked quite satisfied with his new surroundings.
Am I supposed to choose a Christmas tree for us?
What a responsibility for a young polar bear! I need some nourishment now!
What luck there’s so much fruit for me – I certainly need the vitamines to be able to keep my grey cells going. 🙂
After the ‘happy hour’ with apples Nivi found an interesting thing.
I guess Wolodja has already been playing with this thingie …. I hope we can soon destroy toys together!
OK, I just continue breaking it! As you well know – there isn’t such thing as an unbreakable toy!!
Bye bye from me! I leave the space to Wolodja.
This is Wolodja taking a walk.
Soon he found his white fur quite boring and fast as a chameleon he changed the colour of his fur to something less white – less white, indeed! 🙂
I know I look gorgeous in any colour!
A Mona Lisa smile
We often call Wolodja for ‘Teddy’ and I think this photo explains why! Doesn’t he look cute!
