9.3.2019 – Photos by Marko Junttila, Ranua Wildlife Park
Terve! Hello! It’s me – your pal Sisu writing again. We still have a wonderful Winter here in Ranua with lots of snow and frost. However, I know that the Spring will come even here so I try to enjoy the white season as much as possible.
I have some great news for you, too! Mama and I are now living in separate enclosures. She thought I’m big enough to have my own room.
Before I left mama we had a long cuddling hour.
Oh mama, I love you so much but I know it was time for me to leave you. Well, I’m not so far away ….. not yet anyway. If and when I have to leave Ranua I hope I can move to a nice zoo in Europe – maybe with a polar bear girl whose name begins with the letter ‘Q’ ……
I must say I’m a bit confused staying alone in this enclosure but I’m doing my best to get used to my ‘single life’.
Of course, I must check everything very thoroughly.
Yikes, this branch isn’t very yammy. I guess it’s not ment to be eaten.
Before I finish this newsletter I want to show you a couple of nice photos.
The swans have already Spring feelings.
The Spring is knocking even at our door but we can still admire the northern lights in the sky. With this fantastic sight I write bye-bye for now but I hope I’ll be back soon.
Yours bearily, Sisu
