There is a name voting going on and now the ‘finalists’ have been chosen: Novosibirsk Zoo announced the second stage of the contest for the best names for two polar bear cubs.
The list of finalists includes five pairs of names for the cubs:
1. Belka & Strelka
2. Nova & Siba
3. Zima & Vyuga
4. Slava & Pobeda
5. Ldinka & Snezhinka
This time I want to show you a collection of some of the cutest photos of Gerda and her twin girls in the Novosibirsk Zoo. This family is simply so adorable that I can’t help publishing lots of photos of them in this magazine. However, I think most of you don’t mind ….
Gentle girl wrestling
Meditating
Meditating real hard! 🙂
The little pink tongue makes this sweetie even sweeter!
Yin and Yang
Mama is a good listener when her babies want to tell something
Mama, I didn’t do it!
This girl seems to have something very important to tell mama.
Sleeping close to Gerda makes the twins feel safe and secure.
Maybe the kids should need a ladder …..
Not to worry, they made it!
What a nice matress our mama is!
Now the twins are little puzzled. Where’s mama’s head? The paws are here anyway!
Even closeness to each other quarantee sweet dreams!
Bye bye from Novosibirsk! We’ll be back soon!

Unglaublich putzig!
Dear Mervi and Arkadi
The important thing is that Gerda knows what to call her two girls. Love this little family.
The photos are cuter than cute !
Nova & Siba sounds good for me. 🙂
Dear Mervi and Arkadi!
I fully understand why one can’t get away from the enclosure, can’t get the finger off the shutter and takes hundreds of photos with these two sugar snouts. Thank you for this excess of cuteness!
When choosing names, I just hope that they are unique, not too long and that they fit the respective little bear girl.
I wish the two cuties all the best!
Hugs

Dear Mervi,
I also like Nova & Siba best. But the main thing is that all the names are relatively rare and so there is no confusion.
Thank you very much dear Mervi and Arkadi.
Best wishes to Gerda and her babies.
