15.3.2017 – Source: Ranua Wildlife Park
What a wonderful day this is! Venus has presented her little boy to the visitors and the media. I watched the outcoming live in Finnish TV and made some screen shots for you. There will be better photos and hopefully even a video later today.
It was snowing heavily in Ranua today so the weather was the best possible for our white, fluffy friends.
Of course, I couldn’t help tears of joy when I saw the little fellow for the first time outside of the den. What a cutie pie our tiny Viking is! 🙂
Venus’ son is a very mobile kind of guy and he was eagerly examining the enclosure.
However, there’s so much snow that the mother and her baby didn’t make longer walks but prefered fooling around in the snow. I would have liked to join them ….. 🙂
Very often Venus checked the surroundings to make sure her baby was safe and secure.
It was so fun to see Venus diving in the snow and the baby boy imitating his mother and doing exactly the same.
Aren’t they cute!!!!
