1.4.2025 – Photos by Petra Ballon
Everybody loves cute polar bear cubs and Mika in the Karlsruhe Zoo certainly is all the visitors’ darling. Of course, I want to publish as many photos I can in this magazine so Mika is the big star of this Spring.
Petra has already visited the cutie pie at least three times. Here’s a collection of her photos.
Water is already a well known element for the baby boy.
Mika is a frequent visitor at the bar 🙂
He’s even trying to eat solid food although Restaurant Mama still is her favourite hangout. 🙂
Mama Nuka is mentoring her son in melon eating. 🙂

Ich schließe mich vollinhaltlich an! In Bezug auf Klein Mika kann Mervi derzeit vor jedem Bericht eine “cuteness warning” aussprechen… Es ist wunderbar, dass es dem Bärchen so gut geht und es offensichtlich eine herrliche und beschützte Kindheit hat.
