The Advents 2020 and 2021 were pandemi Advents and the years 2022/2023 have been and still are tshadowed by the wars in Ukraine and in Gaza. We must again save energy and maybe not have as many Christmas lights as usual but that’s nothing compared to what the people in Ukraine and in Gaza are going through. Let’s remember them when we light our candles!
However, we can’t see everything in black even though the times are tough. To brighten up your days I want to show you some old and some new collages with our white fluffy friends. The theme is, of course, snow and ice.
Let’s begin with snow!

Even a polar fox loves snow!
Instead of a candle Sisu has lit a nice lantern and it really looks beautiful – don’t you agree?
I publish this collage every year to remind us of our small feathered friends. In Winter time it’s hard to find food so they need our helping hands.
This is Sisu as a cub in Ranua. I hope there will be snow in Yorkshire, too, during this Winter. Well, snow or not – he’s happy there with his new friends.
This cutie doesn’t need any presentation. We can still feel the magic!

Sometimes you wish you had a closet like in the Chronicles of Narnia, with an entrance to that world….
Unfortunately, the reality is little fairy tale like at the moment and you are right that we must not forget those who are not well, who are affected by war, disease and suffering, especially now.

There are many crises on earth.
War, climate catastrophe, energy shortages and politicians who can’t agree.
