Gerda and her twins are planning the activities for a new day. Maybe some snowy games will be on schedule?
What luck there still is snow in the enclosure and the temperatures are very ‘polar bear like’.
There’s plenty of time for Gerda and her babies to enjoy their right element.
The plans for the day are made ….
…. but first a nourishing breakfast. The kids are already showing they’re very hungry.
Of course, Mama’s restaurant is open and yammy milk is always on the top of the menu. 🙂
Time for games in the snow
The snowy surroundigs are a perfect place for hide-and-seek! Sometimes it’s very hard for the visitors to find the snow white cubbies but I guess it’s a piece of cake for these rascals to find each other.
The two fur balls are simply adorable! I’m sure nobody disagrees! 🙂

Games in the snow can be quite exhausting for little cubbies so it’s time again for a visit at Restaurant Gerda.
Oh bear, we will get so much energy ….
Hmm, maybe Gerda sometimes wishes the twins didn’t have so much energy …. 🙂

My only sorrow is, where they will disappear
later, if they are two years of age or older?
Gerda is a well caring mother and the youngsters
have much fun, to hide and seek on the enclosure.

Gerda’s cubs are two of very few zoo polar bears in Europe that can/could enjoy plenty of snow and I am happy for them!
They are making the most of all the opportunities to play in the snow and you can see they are having a great time. The enclosure is not ideal but the bears seem to be doing very well.
