Flocke and Tala in January

10.2.2026 by Pat

On the 19th of January I visited Jimmy’s Farm to see Flocke, Tala and Ewa. I have posted a few photo’s to show just how well they are doing.

Flocke and Tala are still as close as ever. For those who are not aware, they are Indie & Yuma’s mother and sister and left the Yorkshire Wildlife Park 2 years ago.

Ewa came to Jimmy’s Farm from Orsa when the park was closed.

I found the bond between Flocke (18 years) and daughter Tala (6 years) remains very strong. They are both looking fantastic! 🐻‍❄️❤️

They enjoy a meal together without arguments.

Tala, where are you? The dinner is served!

… but unfortunately it seems to have seen better days! 🙂

Flocke doesn’t mind the feathered visitor. She was used to the gulls already when she lived in Yorkshire. 🙂

Ewa.… looking gorgeous and having a relaxing time at Jimmy’s Farm.

She still keeps herself distance from Flocke & Tala.

Mervi’s note: I was very worried when Orsa closed but now I know Ewa is happy at Jimmy’s Farm. She sure looks happy and healthy.

  1. Liebe Pat,

  2. Dear Pat!
Flocke, Tala, and Ewa have the winter fur you would want for polar bears: thick and fluffy. They will probably still need it; winter is not over yet. All three are beautiful bear ladies.
The canoe has seen better days… But it’s still good for further destruction.
    Thanks for sharing!

    Hugs
    Anke
