It’s Friday and we’re tossing it back to Tuesday. Polar Bear Week continues, so here’s Part 2 of Berit & Siku from my visit to Henry Vilas Zoo. Happy Polar Bear Week & Friday! ✌️❤️&🐻❄️
After watching Siku in the pool, I headed to check on Berit before wandering. Looks like Berit’s prepping for her siesta.
“I was and now it’s time for my siesta. Move along!”
About an hour later…..look who’s waking up from her siesta….Berit😍
And Berit’s up and moving, so I headed up top to hopefully meet up with her.
Ahh, perfect timing to catch Berit in the pool
Hello, Siku! Oh my, how quickly you appeared from behind the scenes!
Hmm…..what do you think will happen?
Clearly, we know who the boss is….Berit! Watch out, Siku!
Keep in mind Siku has only been in Madison a couple of weeks.
“I think she likes me!”
She’s definitely keeping her 👀 on Siku….
Berit only had a couple of minutes in the pool before Siku appeared.
Hmm….maybe Siku will be successful going in from the other end.
Berit didn’t move, so maybe….
And now Berit turned and has 👀 on Siku….
To go in or not to go in??
Maybe just jump in…..
Oh…oh….now what’s happening?!
Run Siku RUN!
Or jump in the pool!
Berit may be 26, but she can still move it! Siku was very respectful of Berit. She is clearly in charge.
“Of course I’m in charge!” – Time for Berit to head inside…..
What are you going to do, Siku?
Well….of course, follow Berit!
“I think she likes me!” Well, I think I look forward to watching this continue. See you next week!

Siku knows who’s boss, and he’s wise to respect her.
Despite the big age difference, I think Berit will soon love the youngster
like a grandmother.

Es wird wohl noch etwas Zeit brauchen, doch vermutlich werden sich Berit und Siku miteinander verstehen und Berit wird es genießen, dass sie nicht mehr alleine ist…🐻❄️🐻❄️💝✊

It’s not looking too bad, but there’s still room for improvement…
Berit doesn’t seem to know quite what to make of the young lad yet, but she’s already showing him who’s boss… He would be well advised to acknowledge that.
