In the third part of Pat’s mini series of Flocke and Tala we can see the bears enjoying some activities on the ground.

Let’s go and see what we can find today in our enclosure.

I see a black tyre …

flo77

…. but there’s an interesting looking stump of a tree, too.

flo73

In our park we can always find many interesting thingss.

flo74

This needs a thorough investigation!

flo76

Come and help me!

flo90

This seems to be unbreakable! Unbelievable!!

flo88

Even my big paws can’t tear it apart.

flo78

Hello there, wood! I must admit you’re stronger than I am.

flo75

Let’s leave this stupid stump alone. Next time we will beat it!

flo89

The canu has seen better days! 🙂

flo85

Why do the humans believe there are polar bear proof canus?

flo83

Time to go further …

flo81

… and do some limbo.

Mama, I found a container – maybe there’s food in it! The gull is obviously waiting for some leftovers. 🙂

After a very active day Flocke was exhausted. 🙂

    • Dear Pat and Mervi
Flocke and Tala are fascinating to watch and compare. I am grateful to Pat and other YWP photographers who have the equipment and skills necessary to give us these great photos.

  3. Dear Pat.
    dear Mervi,

only you could come up with “bears limbo”, great!
They are beautiful photos of the two bears exploring.
And yes, there are no indestructible toys for bears.
And they’ll crush the tree stump next time.
Mother and baby look fabulous and still getting along,
    so that’s great.

Pat & Mervi, thank you so much and best wishes!

  4. Dear Pat

It was very nice to experience the day with Flocke and Tala based on your great pictures.
I can understand that Flocke gets tired at some point and just wants to be left alone. It’s good that Tala is giving her mother a rest.
Thank you very much for the wonderful impressions of mom and daughter.

    Hugs,
    Anita
