Lili and Noria in the Rostock Zoo are doing fine. In the photos we may draw the conclusion that there’s not so much inter action between them but, of course, this might be the case only on the day when Gisela took the photos.

Noria started her lunch break alone ….
… but very soon the birdies smelled the food and joined her.
Noria seems to think ‘the more the merrier’ – at least it looks like she’s smiling.

it seems like only yesterday that I rushed to Bremerhaven to see Lili as a cub in 2016. Seven years later and it is good to see her with Noria. Sizzle and Skadi look curious to see what is going on

Die Vögel, die ihnen beim Essen Gesellschaft leisten, um einiges für sich zu ergattern, wirken sehr selbstbewusst, fast dreist. Sie sollten sich in Acht nehmen!
Ich hoffe, dass Lili und Noria nicht dauerhaft Distanz wahren und vielleicht auch ab und zu miteinander kuscheln.
Sizzel und Skadi sind augenscheinlich sehr neugierig, scheinen richtig Lust auf die Besucher zu haben und die Aufmerksamkeit, die ihnen an der Scheibe entgegengebracht wird, zu genießen.

Thank you for your recent photos of the polar bear ladies at Rostock Zoo!
The birds that keep them company while they eat to grab some for themselves seem very self-confident, almost brazen. They should watch out!
I hope that Lili and Noria don’t keep their distance permanently and maybe cuddle with each other from time to time.
Sizzel and Skadi are obviously very curious, seem to really enjoy the visitors and the attention they get at the window.
