Red pandas in Milwaukee

9.2.2023 by Michelle Rippey

Mondays are Pandays in the Milwaukee County Zoo but after seeing all these fantastic photos I would like to call every day a Panday. (Mervi’s note).

30th of January

Hang on, Cinder!

“No problem! I’m a big girl now! Let’s do this Monday thing.”

“Stretchies in fresh snow’s the best!”

panda8

“Oh look….there’s snow in between my toes.”

panda9

Meanwhile, looks like Dash & Erin know what to do with fresh snow.

panda10

Come on, Dash. Give Erin a face wash!”

panda11

“I would never do that, Erin!”

panda12

Time for a good bye kiss…..whoa, that’s not Erin. Aww, dad Dash giving his baby girl Cinder a smooch.

panda13

“Now I’m ready to seize the day!”

panda14

“Aww, my Dashie gave his baby girl a kiss.”

  3. Dear Michelle!

Thank you so much for these delightful photos of the red pandas! It was such a great pleasure for me to publish them in this magazine.

I’m sure these cuties are the visitors’ darlings in the Milwaukee County Zoo. I love the faces of the sweet rascals. No wonder they’re sometimes called ‘cat pandas’.

    Hugs from Mervi

  4. Dear Michelle
    dear Mervi,

the red pandas are little imps and much more agile than their black and white relatives, although one may not believe that they are related at all.

Mervi, your texts are again super – no wonder with such great photos! And that they are the absolute zoo favorites, I believe immediately.

    Love greetings
    Britta-Gudrun

  5. Dear Michelle!
