Servus! Hello! Because Sisu posted an illustrated letter here I decided to do the same. I know I have lots of fans here!
If there are some readers who don’t recognize me I want to introduce myself. I’m Nobby sharing the name with the legendary Nobby Styles.
My philosophy is that there’s no need to mess around when you can just take it easy.
Some of you say I’m the nobbyist Nobby in the world and I can only agree! 🙂
I have five great pals here. In this photo Yuma and I are looking at the water mirror.
Oh bear, who’s that handsome guy?
Where did he go now?
This is very strange! My new pal just vanished!
Here Sisu, Indy, Yuma and I are quality controlling a black tyre. Is it safe enough for the slippery Winter roads – or for polar bear paws? 🙂
During one night our lake was frozen so it felt ‘cracky’ when I jumped in the water. If we get more ice Sisu will show me how to be an ice breaker.
I sure hope we will get more ice and even snow before the Old Man Winter retires!
I want to show you a couple of photos of me and my sister Nela when we were small cubbies in Hellabrunn in Munich. Mervi took lots of photos of us so it wasn’t so easy to choose ….
Can you imagine that I was a tiny fur ball once?
My sister Nela and I having a time-out from cubbie games.
We had lots of fun together.
When I see this photo I can understand why everybody fell in love with me.
I can hardly believe I’ve been so small now that I’m such a gorgeous big polar bear!
I’m a real golden guy – and everybody still loves me!

Dear Mervi, Sheila and Philip
It is great to see so many pictures of Nobby including the ones from when he was a cub.
He is famous for getting muddy.
Dear Mervi!
Your photo archive certainly still has a lot to offer… You have made a very nice selection of Nobby photos! Thank you for this lovely portrait!
Thanks also to Pat for the great pictures from the YWP!
Nobby was a sweet little heartbreaker in Munich and has now become a charming and powerful polar bear. A blind man with a cane can see that he and the other bachelors in Yorkshire are doing well.

Thank you very much dear Mervi, Sheila and Philip.
Best wishes to Nobby, Sisu, Hamish, Luka, Indy, Tala, Yuma and Flocke.
Dear Mervi, Sheila and Philip!
Thank you for the lovely story about Nobby.

Dear Nobby,
You are a delightful bear now, just as you and your sister were fine little cubs in Munich. Keep doing your Nobbiest. It is the Nobby Way and we love you for it.

Dear Sheila and Phillip
In the first picture I thought I saw his mom Giovanna. The second picture confirms my impression.
Yes Nobby was a sweet bear.
We, who have often visited the bears, still laugh about this story today.
The siblings Nela and Nobby were confused for a long time.
So Nobby was considered Nela and Nela as Nobby. We all thought Nela was bigger than Nobby. She eats more too.
When the difference in size became more and more noticeable, when Nela was significantly larger than Nobby, it was checked again and the error was discovered.
And so Nobby became Nobby again.
Thank you for the charm report and the adorable pictures.
Hugs,
Anita
Oops…
Sorry for the mix-up!
Thanks to Sheila and Philip this time, of course!

Dear Sheila
dear Philip,
dear Mervi,
this is a wonderful ramble through the life of Nobby, who is not at all as shy as he was as a baby bear. Of course we were in love with you two cuddly bears and still love you as much.
Mervi your comments are again excellent to the photos of Sheila and Philip,
thank you very much and best regards!

Dear Mervi, Sheila & Philip,
It is great to see your amazing photographs brought together and brilliantly / humorously interpreted. So lovely to see Nobby when he was a small cub with his sister Nela. Nobby is certainly the coolest and Nobbiest polar bear ever!
Thank you
Pat 🐻❄️
