Flocke and her kid trio had a morning meeting in the water. I’m glad to know they don’t have any idea of what’s going on in the world for the time being. They are just happy polar bears and that’s the way it must be, too!
Hello birdie! How nice of you to pay a visit to us!
Indiana, Tala and Yuma then went to do some treasure hunting and, naturally, a gull was keeping an eye on them. 🙂
Wow! Look what I found!
And here’s another treasure! I can play hide-and-seek with it – although I’m afraid my big paws will reveal my hiding place.
Mum and son found something interesting to watch ….
…. but very soon they lost their interest and prefered a nice nap. 🙂
The napping family is now completed.
Hamish is a funny kind of guy. Who said polar bears have no facial expressions??
Luka presents his ‘light cappuccino’ fur.
Sisu and Nobby playing a new game with the gulls.
Maybe Hamish has told them about the Highland Games …. 🙂
Sisu really is an impressive polar bear male just like his big brother Ranzo and papa Manasse.
Mervi, don’t be shy – you can praise my good looks as much as you want! 🙂
Sisu’s concert
I think he’s playing a flute version of Finlandia by Jean Sibelius ….
Thank you for the applause! Kiitos aplodeista!
The polar bears and all the other animals in Yorkshire are doing fine but I can’t help thinking of the poor animals in Ukraine. Many European zoos are trying to help their collegues who have stayed to take care of their animals even when there’s a war going on. That’s really heart warming.
The gulls are nice but it would be even nice to see a dove of peace!
PS. Sorry, I’m writing about the war here, but I just have to refer to the current situation in the world.
