Information from Dierenrijk Nuenen: We have a new resident: Wilbär the polar bear from Sweden! This guy has moved to our zoo as part of the European Animal Management Programme.
Wilbär is curiously exploring his new home.
On behalf of the readers of this magazine I wish Wilbär a happy life in Nuenen!
There’s a cruel war going on but somehow the world is still going around. In Nuenen the animals are happily unaware of what’s going on in the outside world.

Henk and Nivi have moved to other zoos but now Frimas and Elva have got new male company – Mr Wilbär from Orsa!
I have always enjoyed moments watching sleeping polar bears. How I wish the world would be as peaceful!
