On the 14th of June the Yorkshire Wildlife Park officially announced the arrival of Flocke, Tala, Indiana and Yuma to the park. The family moved from the Marineland in Antibes, France. Our friend Sheila has visited the polar bear family and I’m glad to present her first photos and short videos to you.
Flocke and the kids were lucky to come this park where they have lots of space to stroll around and even a nice ‘lake’ for refreshing swimming tours.
Mama Flocke leads her daughter and two sons for an excursion in their new home.
Very soon two of the kids found something interesting.
The whole family examined the mysterious thing very thoroughly.
A boomsie parade. What can be more interesting than a big black tyre? 🙂
This lake is very nice!
The kids were happy finding a nice toy in the lake. Of course, there was a little friendly argument of who will have the toy.
This nice family portrait shows us that Flocke and her kids are quite happy about their new home. How long they will stay in Yorkshire remains to be seen.
I can’t help being envious to everybody being able to visit YWP these days. Imagine – there are eight (!!!) polar bears now! I wish them and their keepers a happy Summer time!
