The Tiergarten Schönbrunn is closed until the 3rd of April. This is the announcement:
However, Finja and her mother Nora are happily unaware of the evil virus so here they are:
Servus! Tere! Terve! It’s me – your Finja again. As you notice I already speak several languages: German (Austrian style!), Estonian, Finnish and, naturally, Polarbearish!
Mama told me the importance of vitamines so I’m learning how to eat vegetables.
The lettuce and the carots look very yammy but so far I prefer mama’s milk bar. The milk is excellent nourishment for me and mama’s belly is the most comfortable café chair in the world! 🙂
Ooops! A piece of lettuce is stuck between my teeth ….
I must watch how mama eats and learn!
The ice bomb is a piece of cake, hihihii …. I don’t have to use my teeth, my tongue does the job!
After a good meal Nora thought it was time for a swimming tour. Finja didn’t hesitate but followed mama.
Look, I’m in the water! I must say it’s very wet but baby bear don’t care!
I’m staying here and watch my mama swimming and diving. She’s a real master swimmer and soon I will be a master, too!
Do I dare to taste the water …..
…. of course, I dare! After all I’m a daughter of an Estonian Queen and a Finnish Viking!!
My mother’s greatest fan Evi from Tallinn has visited us. I don’t think I’m totally wrong saying that she loves me, too!
Papa Ranzo is doing fine. Maybe he feels a bit lonely but the keepers are doing their best to keep him happy. Evi took this nice photo.
The rocks are too high but I’m learning how to be a mounteneer. Soon the Alps will be small stones for me …. OK, maybe I’m exaggerating a little but it’s allowed for a baby bear! 🙂
This log is my good friend! I love to play with it.
Of course, I want to give my friend a gentle hug, too!
Mama said there will soon be green leaves on this tree. How does she know everything? It will be exciting to follow the naked branches turning green.
My teeth are small but already quite sharp! It’s no good trying to mess around with me!
Sorry, I have no more time for you! As you can see I’m very busy! However, I hope to be back soon.
Dear Jutta! Thank you so much for another series of fantastic photos of the ice princess in Vienna!
