Terve! Hello! I have some great news for you! Being a well mannered polar bear isn’t so easy so I’m writing a book. I thought a ‘Guide to Good Table Manners’ would make a good start! Most bears in my age already know how to eat their food with great elegance but my younger friends probably need some good advice.
First you must, of course, make sure that your catering service personnel will serve your food in a pool with fresh water. Hmmm, maybe I have to write a book for the keepers as well ….
This day we were treated with very yammy stuff. Luckily Marko came during our lunch hour so I can illustrate my book with his excellent photos!
Some exercise before eating is necessary so I have to spend some time diving and looking for the food.
Oh, there’s an apple, too but now I’m focusing on eating the carot.
Every well mannered polar bear knows how to keep a carot nicely between the paws.
Playing with your food is highly recommended! We polar bears really know how to enjoy a meal – playing with it makes it double as yammy!!
Now you can eat it.
Now it’s time for a lesson with an apple. First you have to find it, of course. 🙂
Please, don’t forget the elegant use of your paws! Ooops! I accidentally already ate a teeny weeny bit of it …
I decided to bring the red fruit to the shore having only my paws in the water.
An apple a day keeps the vet away. I hope a half of an apple will do the trick as well!
This is soooo yammy!
The ‘cream of the cake’ – The ice bomb
The grande finale of our lunch was a nice ice bomb. A quality control must be done so, please, make sure it looks OK!
Oh yeah! This is perfect!
Again I want you to notice the grace and elegance of the paws.
I must keep my eyes closed when I eat this yammy thing. I hope I’m not dreaming …. The ice bomb is a piece of art so it’s a pity to eat it ….
Finally I want to send my best Summer greetings to my big brother Ranzo, his lovely girlfriend Nora and my good friend Aron in Tallinn. Of course, I even wish all the readers of Knuti’s Weekly a pleasant late Summer!
See you soon again! Maybe with a new capture in my book ….
Your pal Sisu
