The 26th of May was the traditional Bear Day in the Novosibirsk Zoo and, of course, it was the perfect time to announce the names of Gerda’s sweet cubbies.
Oksana Kalinina kindly ‘translated’ the names: NORDI AND SHAUNA! Thank you, dear Oksana!
The following photos were taken earlier this month but maybe we will see photos of the name giving, too, later on.
Gerda and the twins had a white surprise!
One morning in May the keepers had arranged a white surprise for Gerda and her twins.
I wonder if my kids remember what the white stuff is ….
What is this?
I know I’ve seen this stuff before ….. when we were very small ….
Dear brother, do you remember what this white stuff is called? Maybe we must ask mama?
Mama knows everything! She told us it’s SNOW!
Oh bear, it’s so fun! We thought we would never see snow again.
Snow gives the wrestling a totally new dimension! 🙂
Like Yin and Yang 🙂
Isn’t this great! We have Spring and Winter at the same time!
Snow ballet in Novosibirsk. The dancers in the Bolshoj Theatre must be envious to these gracious dancers! 🙂
An active morning in the snow is fun but also rather exhausting. Luckily mama makes a nice cushion so Nordi and Shauna could take a nice trip to the Napland.
